In this continuing focus on making real-time adaptations for culturally responsive teaching, educators will learn to respond and refine teaching based on student and community needs, challenges, and opportunities. Fostering critical agency utilizes a unique framework approach where teachers integrate a three-prong approach of reflect, respond, and reach, enabling students to address community issues and target hope outcomes through mathematics learning practices.
