In ‘Imagining and Immersing in Human Worlds of STEM,’ we delve into the natural curiosity and creativity with which all children explore their world, recognizing that these explorations are full of STEM ideas and practices. This session is designed to help educators uncover and harness these innate tendencies, connecting STEM education to the lived experiences, questions, and creative expressions of students and their communities.

In ‘Designing for Hope and Human Connection in STEM,’ educators engage in the practical application of the Hope Wheel framework to plan and adapt STEM investigations and lessons. This session provides educators with tools to create science and technology lessons that not only meet curriculum standards but also enrich the learning experience through joy, curiosity, and empowerment.
